2020 Stewardship Drive - "Take the Time"

As our fall schedule ramps up at Trinity, it is time to start to think about our annual stewardship drive.  This is where we, as a congregation, pledge our time, talent and treasures for next year.

This year, 2019, has been a busy one at Trinity in part because of our 200th-anniversary celebrations.  In addition, we have completed several building improvement projects.

Our 2020 Stewardship Theme is “Take the Time” by the Michael Stanley Band.  It might seem a bit strange that we would pick a Heartland Rock band from the Cleveland area as our theme.

The lyrics start:  These are strange days we live in, the nights get even worse.
And the news must make you crazy, it has for so long.
The song goes on to say:

Take the time to love someone
Take the time to make amends
Take the time to make a stand
Take the time for your friends

We all live in a crazy world that seems to be getting crazier by the minute.
We all need to take the time to sit back and be with your family and friends.
We do that each Sunday morning with our church family and friends.
Each week during worship, we will take the time to reflect on the past year and some of Trinity’s ministries.  We hope that everyone will sit back during the Stewardship drive and think about how Trinity impacts your life and consider your faithful gifts to Trinity.

Pledge cards will be mailed out the week of 10/28/19.  Please return the pledge cards on Stewardship Sunday 11/10/19.
