Faith Formation Opportunities after Sunday Worship




Our fall Faith Formations programs (Sunday School) start-up September 30, 2018.  We offer Faith Formation opportunities for all ages after worship Sundays from 10:45 - 11:45.

Adults - two classes offered

Note - The first Sunday, September 30, 2018 all adults will meet in the Parlor and talk with our German Visitor, Rev. Sabine Sarpe.

Rev. Kevan Franklin - This class is in the Chapel and starts 10/14/18
Kevan's ABC class is approaching the Bible creatively.  Thinking aloud is allowed!
"Why it's good to say I think... when studying the Bible."


Finding Joy - taught by Herb Broda and Janet Burkhart.  This class is in the Parlor and starts 10/7/18
Join us as we explore The Book of Joy, an inspiring book based on a meeting between the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  Our sessions will be interactive and joyous as we explore obstacles to joy as well as the essential ingredients for a joy-filled life.  As we celebrate our 200th Anniversary we will try to include a bit of Trinity's heritage as well.  The book is available but is not necessary.


Youth Opportunities - Preschool to High School

Nursery

Preschool -6th Grade
Pathfinders Class.  Featuring Whirl Lectionary curriculum designed to teach kids how the Bible is relevant to their lives.

Middle School / Confirmation - 7-8 grade
The class will study material that will lead them to full Christian discipleship and membership.

Senior High
The class will learn from a variety of sources.

Ghana Mission Trip

 On May 24, three Trinity members, Pat Anderson , Janet Burkhart and Joan Cooper, will be traveling to Ghana.  Also traveling from Ohio are Sandy Lindahl, former member of Trinity and Scott Gregory, a member of the Thursday breakfast crew. May 25, 2023 There are no pictures today.  Sorry.😞   After a 10 hour flight from New York and a 10-11 hour bus ride, we finally made it to our hotel.  It was 10:00 when we arrived and it was great to be able to stand up and walk around.  We are four hours ahead of Ohio.  I’ll have pictures tomorrow.  😊 May 26, 2023 Today was a day full of Ghanaian culture!     We visited a wonderful batik artist. She and her artists cut designs in foam, dip them in very hot wax, shake them off and print the wax on cloth.
