Faith Formation Opportunities after Sunday Worship

Our fall Faith Formations programs (Sunday School) start-up September 30, 2018.  We offer Faith Formation opportunities for all ages after worship Sundays from 10:45 - 11:45. Adults - two classes offered Note - The first Sunday, September 30, 2018 all adults will meet in the Parlor and talk with our German Visitor, Rev. Sabine Sarpe. Rev. Kevan Franklin - This class is in the Chapel and starts 10/14/18 Kevan's ABC class is approaching the Bible creatively.  Thinking aloud is allowed! "Why it's good to say I think... when studying the Bible." Finding Joy - taught by Herb Broda and Janet Burkhart.  This class is in the Parlor and starts 10/7/18 Join us as we explore The Book of Joy , an inspiring book based on a meeting between the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  Our sessions will be interactive and joyous as we explore obstacles to joy as well as the essential ingredients for a joy-filled life.  As we celebrate our 200th Anniversary w...

Wednesday Evening Prayer & Communion Service - 6:30 pm Starts again Wednesday September 26, 2018 Each Wednesday from 6:30 pm-7:15 pm in the Chapel, we will gather for prayers and observe the presence of Christ in Communion. We will be exploring some of the parables of Jesus together to discover what meaning we might find in them for our own time. Join us in prayer and communion as we observe a mid-week pause to refresh and remember God’s presence in our lives. NSM - College of Wooster August 2018

We welcomed students from the College of Wooster to North Street Mission!  The group worked two mornings in our breakfast program, one morning at St. James community lunch and afternoons at Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army and Moca House.
