Trinity United Church of Christ

  Sunday evening 6/25/23, we welcomed a group to Trinity and North Street Mission, from Christ Community Reformed Church of Clifton Park, NY.   Monday morning the group worked our breakfast program.  After breakfast we held our opening circle and gave them a tour of the church.  In the afternoon the group went to People to People Ministries to learn about their organization. People to People Ministries Link to pictures Tuesday morning the group worked the breakfast program.  At 10:30 the group will hear from a former homeless person and learn about all of the challenges of being homeless.   North Street Mission Monday evening June 12, 2023 we welcomed a youth group from Downers Grove First United Methodist Church.  They are from a southwest suburb of Chicago.     Tuesday morning the group worked our breakfast program.  After breakfast the group had a discussion with a homeless person about the issues facing them today.  In the afternoon the group went to Sonnenberg Village in Kidron, Ohio.  The group worked outside moving wood until they got rained out.  The group then discussed Trinity, homeless and Sonnenberg Village.  Ray Leisy gave the group a tour of the Village and (Ray & Allyson) provided a pizza dinner.  Link to Sonnenberg Village Website Link to group pictures Follow the group this week! Wednesday morning the group again worked our breakfast program.  After breakfast, Joan and Sally discussed the history of the breakfast program.  After lunch the group went to work at the local Habitat for Humanity Restore.  After the Restore the group helped Trinity's
