200th Anniversary Building Projects Update
Trinity 200th Anniversary Building Projects Update
As part of our 200th celebration we are in the midst several building improvement projects. During the 2019 Stewardship Drive we kicked off a two year building improvement fund drive to fund the 200th Anniversary projects. Our current projected costs of these projects is $144,000.
HVAC Replacement - $78,500
Last fall we replaced all of the rooftop furnaces and air conditioners that were installed during the renovation during the mid 1990's. A couple of the units had not been working for a couple of years. We also replaced the furnace and air conditioner that takes care of the office. We did not replace the furnace and air conditioner in the choir room nor did we replace the boilers.
Masonry Repair Project - $15,500
This project will repair and treat the older brick and sandstone on the South / East and North sides of the building. We have many places where the mortar is completely gone and places where bricks could eventually be falling.
Roof over the Sanctuary - $50,000
This project should start the last week of May. We are replacing the shingled portion of the roof over the sanctuary with a metal roof. We anticipate that if we don't replace the roof that it will start leaking soon.
To make contributions to these building improvements just label your donation for "building." We are hoping to be able to have these projects paid off at the end of 2020.
