200th Anniversary Celebration Concert - March 24, 2019 6:30 pm




The "Illuminati is a special group within the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus.  "Illuminati" refers to the Latin phrase meaning "the Enlightened Ones" and was created to respond to the community's expressed desire for musical performances of a sacred or spiritual nature.  It's mission is to increase the Chorus' outreach performances, particularly to religious organizations, while respecting our member's spiritual beliefs.  Illuminati performs monthly at various religious institutions and events around central Ohio and sometimes beyond and is proud to be a bridge between the LGBT and religious communities.  Illuminati works to demonstrate that we all have a place within God's family.


During the 9:30 am Worship Service on Sunday March 24, 2019, as part of our 200th Anniversary Celebration, Rev. Jim Christensen will be preaching.  Jim and Marcia will also be at this concert.

May 25, 2023 There are no pictures today.  Sorry.😞   After a 10 hour flight from New York and a 10-11 hour bus ride, we finally made it to our hotel.  It was 10:00 when we arrived and it was great to be able to stand up and walk around.  We are four hours ahead of Ohio.  I’ll have pictures tomorrow.  😊 May 26, 2023 Today was a day full of Ghanaian culture!     We visited a wonderful batik artist. She and her artists cut designs in foam, dip them in very hot wax, shake them off and print the wax on cloth.
