NSM - Compass Christian July 2017

We welcomed our second group to North Street Mission!   They are the Dailey family from the Compass Christian Church from near Cincinnati.  By having a family at NSM gives us the idea that other families might be interested in spending some time with hands on mission.

The group worked three mornings in our breakfast program, two afternoons at People to People Ministires and spent one afternoon at the Wooster Drug Court.

We at North Street Mission want groups to have a meaningful week and hope that they continue to go on mission trips in the future.  Part of this process involves getting feedback from the groups.  Here is a summary of the feedback from the Compass group:

I believe NSM can make a difference by….

-Continuing to live out the call to be the hands and feet of Christ here in Wooster.  Feeding both food and spiritual nourishment, being a friend and fulfilling many needs.
-Continuing to build a community locally and across the country through your mission work, trips and now as the best hosts
-By continuing to help and inspire others to help in this community and others and spreading joy and love and hope to everyone
-By inspiring visitors to serve in their own communities

Survey responses……

-Excellent overview of all you do from various staff/volunteers!
-Maybe a bit more about the demographics (socioeconomic) about Wooster
-Wonderful attention to detail-you really covered all the bases for comfort and convenience.
-Exceeded our expectations
-Certainly a nice mission/fellowship/faith growth opportunity
-Just tell folks to bring a blanket or pad for the top of the bunk (mattress)

-Perhaps with a normal size youth group there would be time to have praise / worship time  or we could do that ourselves too.  But it would be neat to join in song and worship with someone from Trinity.
