Earth Day Movie - Racing Extinction Saturday April 13, 2019 - 4:00 pm with free dinner after Join us on Earth Day for the viewing of the movie, Racing Extinction.  The Endangered Species Act is the last resort for many species to avoid extinction.   Members of Congress are disregarding science and proposing bills to slash the Act.   But, there is something powerful you can do as an individual to protect species from disappearing forever.   Take a look at the movie trailer: Racing Extinction - movie trailer The movie starts at 4:00 pm with a free meal to follow.

The "Illuminati is a special group within the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus.  "Illuminati" refers to the Latin phrase meaning "the Enlightened Ones" and was created to respond to the community's expressed desire for musical performances of a sacred or spiritual nature.  It's mission is to increase the Chorus' outreach performances, particularly to religious organizations, while respecting our member's spiritual beliefs.  Illuminati performs monthly at various religious institutions and events around central Ohio and sometimes beyond and is proud to be a bridge between the LGBT and religious communities.  Illuminati works to demonstrate that we all have a place within God's family. NSM - First UCC of Galion Febuary 2019 We welcomed the first group of 2019 over Presidents Day Weekend.  The 9 member, multi-generational group from First UCC Galion worked in our breakfast program on Monday and painted at a Habitat House in Orrville in the afternoon.  This was our first group to work at North Street Mission and stay one night taking advantage of the Presidents Day school holiday. Trinity Sanctuary Roof Project As you know we are planning on replacing the roof over the sanctuary in a few months. We plan on replacing it with a gray metal roof.  The top picture is our current roof.  The bottom picture is from a simulator showing the slate gray metal roof.
